EGF. Heritage Board Meeting  January 18, 2010

 
The meeting was called to order by Pres. Dale Helms at 7 PM sharp. The Board members present were Jim Grabanski, Dale Helms, Karen Useldinger, Darren Nelson, Julie Jensen, and Marilyn Egeland.  There were four other members present.  

 
**Minutes were reviewed. Darren made a motion to accept the minutes-- second by Marilyn.

 
**Treasurer’s report was given by Karen Useldinger. We received a $1425 bill from Tim Holt for hooking up the water and sewer to the Amundson Building.
 Jim Grabanski made a motion to accept the  report and pay the bills.  -- Second by Julie Jensen.   

 
**Communications:  A Thank you was read from the Roger Kovar family. Two donations ($30)  were given from the Ryan Pape family. A thank  you  from the Clarence Amundson family was also read;  a $40  donation was given towards the building fund in Clarence’s name from Don Krueger.  

 
**Progress on buildings and grants had no new news.

 
**Fun’d’nite: VFW put a bid in for $16.50/ plate. This seemed high.  Marilyn said she would talk to Kathy Mills to see why the price was so high. Teri and Dale will talk to the Legion for a bid.  Julie will check with the Eagles and the Touch of Magic for bids.  

 
There was no other old business.

 
**New Business:    We need volunteers to head up the silent auction...
no volunteers yet??

 
** Karen Useldinger made a motion for the Board to accept improvements around the Sherlock House sidewalk and steps.  This would be done by an Eagle Scout.  Marilyn second the motion.  Motion carried.

 
**Marilyn brought up an idea that all food venders should know what each are serving, so they will not be competing with each other and us.

 
**Darren made a motion to adjourn, second by Marilyn.
