Heritage Grounds is located on Highway 220 North and
20th Street NE next to the East Grand Forks Technical College. Just look for the
big Red Barn and the Granville church steeple in East Grand
Forks, Minnesota.
This historic
heritage village serves as an instrument preserving the history of the Northern
Red River Valley. It is brings history to life. During Heritage Days, the third week of every August, steam
engine threshing machines, museum displays, demonstrations and much more.
Heritage Village
preserves and brings to life the history of the Red
River Valley with tours of pioneer buildings and presentations representing the upper Midwest
and
the life in the mid to late 1800’s and early 1900’s.
